She was born to a family of farmers in a remote village in the Eastern Himalayas of India. The first seven years of her life were spent in the midst of fields, dirt, and jungle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When the time came for her to further her worldly knowledge through formal education, her aunt took her to Nepal. She spent most of her life in the Kathmandu Valley. She entered the new world as an incredulous child and took leave as an adult with an undergraduate degree and a decade-long experience in print journalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After completing her bachelor\u2019s degree, she joined an English daily as a trainee journalist and paved her way to the position of senior journalist and sub-editor. During these years, she realized her love for stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ordinary lives. Highs and lows of life. Extraordinary resilience. Zeal for life. Courage to dream and turn it into reality. She wanted to share the stories of people for relevance, inspiration, and for the sheer need to be heard. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She was curious.
